Tourist Precincts

Featuring seven of Australia's most loved tourist precincts this issue is also the first incorporating the new postage rate of 55c.

There are four 55c stamps, which feature Luna Park - Melbourne, South Bank - Brisbane, The Rocks - Sydney, and Fishermans Wharf - Freemantle. The $1.10 stamp features Foreshore in Cairns, the $1.65 Salamanca Palace in Hobart, and the $2.75 high value stamp features Glenelg in Hobart.

The stamps are due for release on the 8th September 2008.
