Please note: If you have just stumbled across a few old worn coins, at the back of the kitchen drawer, they are very unlikely to be worth more than £1.50 a kilo. Please do not contact us, if this is the case. You will be wasting our time and yours! This includes copper coins from George III, George IV and Victoria. Unless they are uncirculated, they are virtually worthless. Remember that nobody ever throws coins in the bin and they take hundreds of years to wear out. That is why there are so many old ones, still around!

We also buy stamps, postcards, covers, cigarette cards, vintage toys, military items and most collectables.

If you are having a clear-out, and have slowly uncovered a growing accumulation of unrelated collectables, then please give us a call. A huge percentage of the collections we buy are from ordinary people who are moving house, down-sizing or emigrating. We also buy a lot of material from those who have inherited a collection they have no interest in. Perhaps you have tried, and failed, to get your children/grandchildren interested in collecting. Don't be disheartened, if they don't want to know!. We will buy it and sell it to a collector who is as passionate as you! As a a rule of thumb, if the whole lot fills an 18x12x12 inch box, we are going to be interested. Many people contact us with several large cartons of material.

Most dealers will only be interested in the rarer items in any collection. They will usually put a value of zero on the remainder as they cannot sell them. While we also look for the better items in any collection, we put a value on any material sent to us. This is because The Ten O'Clock Show has a worldwide customer-base of many thousands. What is the valuations procedure?

If the lot weighs over 5 kilos, we will usually arrange a courier to collect the goods at our expense. Once the collection has been valued, we will call you with our offer. If the offer is acceptable, payment will be sent within 7 days by cheque. However, if the offer is declined, we will return your collection immediately at no cost to you.
