Stamp Duty Threshold PDF Print E-mail

Stamp Duty Land Tax is levied, at differing rates, on the consideration given for a land transaction. If the property is valued at under £60000, then no tax is currently payable. Above £60000, the tax is levied at between 1% and 4%. Virtually all properties are now worth more than £60000 and are beyond the stamp duty threshold.
