South Africa unveils new Mandela stamps PDF Print E-mail
South Africa has released a limited number of stamps to honour former president, Nelson Mandela on his 90th birthday.

The stamps cost R2.50 cents for domestic mail while international stamps cost R4.90 cents. The last time the South African Post Office dedicated stamps to Mandela was for his presidential inauguration in 1994.

It currently remains to be seen why the promotional material states "released a limited number of the stamps", as details have not been given as to specific numbers or time frame. It does make you wonder if they really are limited or if it another marketing ploy!
