Lithuania Water droplet Stamp PDF Print E-mail
Lithuania has produced its first ever stamp in the shape of a water droplet. It has a value of 2.45lt and features the words Lietuva and Lithuania.

The stamp release coincides with the Expo Zaragoza 2008 World exhibition which is being held in spain from now til the middle of September. The main topic of the exhibition is "Water and Sustainable Development.

104 countries are participating in the exhibition and it is expected that over eight million people will visit during the coming months.

It is the first time the country has produced a stamp in the striking shape, and is dedicated to the participation of Lithuania in the world exhibition.
