International Year Of The Planet Stamps PDF Print E-mail
On the 28th April, An Post issued two stamps to commemorate the international year of Planet Earth.

The stamps are a first for Ireland, as they are circular self adhesive stamps, complimenting the design which features a graphical representation of the earth. One stamp is blue and orange and the other red and yellow, while both have a value of 55c.

The stamps and first day covers were designed by Richard Chaney, and are available from a post offices and philatelic outlets.
